Steps involved in embedding fonts into a PowerPoint presentation 2007:
Every computer contains different sets of fonts. It is necessary that the set of fonts showing on your computer must look same on another computer, which has different set of fonts installed. This will ruin your PowerPoint presentation. This problem can easily be solved by embedding (saving) your fonts in the presentation.
Personally, I like office 2007 very much; especially when I used to work on PowerPoint. The reason behind this is that the office 2007 has many unique styles. But problem is that when we sending these documents, we face compatibility problems. Office 2007 has new fonts but they are not embedded in office 97 to 2003. In order to make your document completely compatible you need to embed the fonts and styles.
Following are some steps involved in embedding your fonts into a PowerPoint presentation so, that it will not ruin your presentation:
• Step 1: Click the logo shown at the top left corner of Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 known as “Office Button”.
• Step 2: When office button options are opened, click a button located at the bottom of the menu “PowerPoint Options”.
• Step 3: After clicking PowerPoint options button, a window will open, which contains different options, select “Save” from the given options and click it.
• Step 4: Check the unchecked box next to “Embed Fonts in the File”.
• Step 5: Click OK.
• Step 6: Once embedding fonts, save the PowerPoint Presentation normally.
By following the above steps, you will be able to see same set of fonts, as it appears on your computer, when you were making the presentation.
There are numerous types of fonts, which contain license restrictions. You can only use true fonts included with Microsoft Windows. If you have copied fonts from somewhere and it contains license restrictions, you cannot embed them. Make sure that the file size of your PowerPoint presentation will increase if you have saved file with embedded fonts.
